We are now in the process of moving our datacenters.
The move may last between one to three days, during this time
all of your redirects will still work properly, however, you will not be
setup any new tracking202 campaigns during the move.
If you will need to setup more campaigns we recommend using the
self-hosted version of tracking202, which can be downloaded for free here
You can find more information about the move on our blog.

thanks for the great video however I am a little confused with using the tracking202 destination url in adwords.

My understanding has always been you can only use a destination url that is a part of the display url? So a redirect.tracking202.com url would not be allowed as the destination url for a sexyringtones.com display url?

Normally I do a simple redirect_to in my code that hides the aff link to keep Google happy.

Hey Chris,

Ok yeah sounds like your basic question is about the QS, and it is just bad in nature to have the destination URL different than the display URL when running adwords.

I'd say you are correct, and if you do this you could setup the landing page setup if you want.

Right now we just use a PHP header redirect (and if cloaking is on) we use an additional meta/javascript refresh out. But to answer your question you can do a Direct Link Setup in google adwords, with the destination URL begin different than the Display URL (you may not get the best QS, but sometimes you will still get a good QS) I've had some direct links in google that have worked great before. Most of the time, not, but to answer you question you can do it.

Unfortunately I don't think we have that last thing you are mentioning about the redirect_to on your landing page, we'd probably recommend a landing page setup because it sounds like thats essential what your doing anyways?

So, good news. I finally made a $37 profit today! Since I finally found something that I think might work (I can't tell you how excited I am about that), I decided to start using tracking202.

A few things come to mind. First, in a different video, you mention we should use dynamic keywords to get our quality score up. I've used this in my ads, but when we create our ads here in tracking202, how do we relay that here? Does it matter that much? When I put my {KEYWORD: blah} in, it shows exactly that instead of as Yahoo sees it as a bolded "blah".

Minor question, but through I might ask it.

Yeah exactly, just if you want its all personal reference.

So you can just put

{keyword} in your text ad titles in T202, its really doesn't mater, but then you'll just know theses text ads you were using dynamic keywords with for your own personal reference.
